Great British Car Journey Museum

The Great British Car Journey car collection is a result of Richard Usher's realisation that the popular cars of his childhood, youth and even middle age have all but disappeared.

“My earliest car memories are of my Dad's Morris Minor which was followed by a Singer Gazelle Convertible and then a Ford Corsair. I remember sitting in the back of an Austin A40 in which my Mum was learning to drive and her first proper car which was a Vauxhall Viva HA.”

All the above are now exceedingly rare but so are the cars of the 70s ,80s and 90s : the Escorts, Cortinas, Sierras...etc etc etc.

Just seeing these cars again opens the door to waves of nostalgia but wouldn't it be even better if our visitors could have a go behind the wheel?

Ticket includes Travel and entry to the Museum.

All drive experiences need to be booked in advance or paid on the day at the museum.

Driver's must have their driving licence with them.
