Llandudno is the largest seaside resort in Wales, uniquely situated between the Great and Little Ormes. These limestone cliffs provide ideal nesting conditions for a wide variety of sea birds including puffins and guillemots.The town has kept its Victorian and Edwardian elegance and splendour, despite its modern attractions, so there's lots to see and do.
Lunch is at the St George's Hotel is Llandudno's first luxury seafront hotel, having opened in the spring of 1954. The foyer still holds the original brass bell knobs that were used by some very distinguished guests over the years, including Napoleon III, Bismark and Churchill. The food at St George's is an enticing offering with a focus on locally sourced ingredients.
