The days are longer, the flowers are blooming, and the colder weather is (hopefully!) behind us. If you’re in the mood to get outside and explore, then we’ve got some exciting last minute trips in store for May. But you better be quick – they won’t be available for long!
Renishaw Hall Gardens (17 May 2024) - You’ll get the chance to soak up the culture of Chesterfield’s market before heading to Renishaw Hall to see the bluebell blooms of spring. Complete with ornamental ponds and statues, Renishaw Hall is home to one of the most important classical Italianate gardens in Britain. It also has a cafe and museum, so there’s plenty to do and see.
Llandudno Day Trip (from 25 May 2024) - Head to the largest seaside town in Wales for the day for a mixture of culture, nature and fun! You’ll be able to take in its rich Victorian and Edwardian history, spot the sea birds, travel the promenade, visit the pier, and if you fancy, even have some classic fish ‘n’ chips.
York Shopper (from 29 May 2024) - Whether you’re looking for yourself or someone you love, there’s no better place to go shopping than the beautiful city of York. Designer labels, high street names, independent charm or antique treasures, you name it, York’s got it. And if you need a rest inbetween stores, there’s plenty of places to relax too.
Weekend in Wells, Somerset (31 May 2024) - Want a hassle-free weekend away? Come and stay in an award-winning hotel with elegant and historical bedrooms and dramatic views of Wells cathedral. You’ll be located close to the center of Wells with easy access to explore the Medieval city. The hotel also has an on-site lounge, bar and restaurant, if you’d rather put your feet up and relax!
