We love a flower show, day out to the beach or a shopping trip to a historic English town. But we often like to venture outside of our comfort zone, and have put on some slightly different (for Bullocks!) but just as exciting leisure trips over the next couple of months, here’s the pick of the bunch!
RAF Cosford (09 June 2024) - Enjoy a spectacular day out to RAF Cosford to see jaw-dropping flying displays as well as the opportunity to celebrate this year’s theme of ‘Take Flight’, focussing on kick-starting careers in the RAF, allowing attendees to develop an understanding of what the service does for the defence of the United Kingdom. The RAF Cosford Air Show stands as the sole remaining RAF-organised Air Show, offering a splendid chance to delve deeper into the world of the RAF. Moreover, it promises an exhilarating summer outing suitable for the entire family to enjoy.
Pontefract liquorice festival (14 July 2024) - A day out to celebrate Pontefract’s unique collection with Liquorice! The festival is a sea of delicious street food vendors and market stalls offering liquorice themed products, topped off with entertainment from various community acts and top local talent! For the kids, there’s a Kid’s zone with educational workshops, face painting, crafts and more!
Melton Mowbray Pie Festival (03 August 2024) - Head to the UK’s capital of pies with Bullocks! A tasty day out for all of the family! A chance to try every type of pie you can imagine, hot, cold, savoury sweet, you name it, there’ll be one there! Alongside the various tasting sessions, there will be talks, demonstrations and a range of entertainment and food theatre for you to enjoy too! A celebration like no other, this one is definitely worth a visit!
